How to Create an SMS Membership? How to Integrate the System?
To send SMS messages via Medicasimple, you need to integrate SMS services with NetGSM. Once all steps are followed, your SMS subscription will be activated within 2-3 business days.
Steps to Complete the Process:
Creating a NetGSM Subscription
Connecting NetGSM with Medicasimple
1. Subscription Process
To create a subscription, first, go to the NetGSM registration page [here]. After skipping the introduction, you will see four steps to complete the process.
Step 1: Entering Subscriber Information
Fill in the required subscriber details completely as shown on the screen.
Once this step is completed, you will receive an SMS verification code on your registered phone number. After entering the verification code, you can proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Entering Address Information
Enter your address details exactly as they appear on your tax certificate to avoid any discrepancies.
Step 3: Choosing Your Number & Username
Here, you will need to select how you want to send SMS messages.
Choose "I only want to use the SMS service" to proceed.
A default 0850 number will be assigned to you.
If you do not wish to use this number, you can request a custom sender name (up to 3 usernames).
Important Rules for Choosing a Sender Name:
It must be 11 characters or less and contain only English letters.
The name must match your tax certificate or trademark registration.
Example: If your tax certificate states Medicasimple, you can use variations like Mdcsmpl or Medicasimpl but not unrelated names like Buket.
After setting up your sender name, click Save and proceed.
Step 4: Uploading Required Documents
At this step, NetGSM will require specific documents. Some documents can be uploaded directly to the system.
The Subscription Agreement can either be printed, signed, and mailed to NetGSM or signed using an e-signature (for details, contact NetGSM at +90 800 606 0 606).
NetGSM Mailing Address (for document submission): [Enter address here]
Final Step: Payment
A service fee of 39 TL must be paid to activate the subscription. You can make the payment using the provided bank details.
Once all steps are completed, your activation details (username & password) will be sent via email and SMS within 2 business days.
2. NetGSM & Medicasimple Integration
Once your subscription is active, you need to configure the NetGSM integration in Medicasimple by creating a sub-user in NetGSM. This step is mandatory for the integration to work.
Step 1: Logging into NetGSM
Log in to the NetGSM portal using the subscriber number/username and password you received via email or SMS.
Step 2: Creating a Sub-User
After logging in:
Go to User Management from the left menu.
Select Create Sub-User.
Fill in the details:
Username
Full Name
Phone Number
Password (Make sure to note this password, as it will be required later.)
The sub-user does not need to be different from the main account; you can use the same details.
Leave the "Commercial Content Sending" option unchanged.
At the bottom, select all permissions and save the settings.
After saving, you will receive an SMS verification code to confirm the sub-user setup. Enter the code to complete the verification.
Step 3: Sub-User Approval Process
NetGSM will call you to confirm the newly created sub-user. After providing confirmation, the sub-user will be activated.
Step 4: API Configuration
Go to User Management > API Settings in NetGSM.
Fill in the required fields with the sub-user’s information:
Full Name
Phone Number
Choose "Other" as the programming language.
Check "I accept API access" and save the settings.
Step 5: Entering NetGSM Credentials into Medicasimple
Go to Settings > My Clinic in Medicasimple.
Scroll down to SMS Settings and enter your NetGSM credentials:
Username → Found in the top-left corner of NetGSM (usually a number).
Password → The password set for the sub-user.
Once completed, your SMS integration is now active.
Troubleshooting:
If the remaining SMS balance shows 30, there might be an issue with the setup. Contact us via Live Support at the bottom-right corner of the screen for assistance.
